About the role:
We are recruiting a Production Operator on behalf of a well-established timber manufacturing business in Enstone. This is a temporary position with a clear route to permanence for the right person. You will work as part of a skilled, supportive production team, fabricating timber roof trusses to specification in a well-organised manufacturing environment.
What you will do:
- Fabricate and assemble timber roof trusses to specification
- Operate production machinery and hand tools safely
- Read and follow production drawings
- Carry out quality checks on finished products
- Keep your work area clean, tidy and safe
- Support general manufacturing duties as required
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, woodworking or a similar production environment is an advantage, though not essential
- Good practical skills and a strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A solid commitment to health and safety
- £12.71 per hour
- Consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with an early finish every Friday
- Immediate start available
