Experienced on the press brake? Permanent, full-time role in Banbury. Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm, paying £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.
About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a precision sheet metal fabrication business in Banbury. They produce bespoke components to tight tolerances across a wide range of live projects. You will be programming, setting and operating an Amada HFE MK2 down-stroking press brake, working to drawing and checking your own work to tolerance.
What you will be doing
- Programming, setting and adjusting the press brake to produce accurate formed components
- Pressing, inspecting and tolerance-checking standard and bespoke parts
- Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
- Supporting general manufacturing activities when needed
- Proven experience setting and operating a press brake
- Knowledge of the Amada HFE range or a comparable CNC down-stroking press brake
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings
- A quality-focused, right-first-time approach to your work
- Own transport
- Fabrication industry background is a strong advantage
- £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm
