A well-established manufacturer in Banbury is hiring a permanent Electrical Assembly Operative to join their production team. You will be fitting and wiring electrical components - heating elements, thermostats, control panels - into finished products, working from technical drawings and wiring diagrams as part of a close-knit assembly team. Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am-4.30pm and Friday 7am-2pm.
What you will do
- Carry out electrical assembly, including soldering, wiring, and fitting components to finished products
- Read and work from wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout, checking your work before it moves on
- Work as part of a production team contributing to output and on-time delivery
- Proven electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Confident reading wiring diagrams and schematics
- Hands-on soldering experience as a regular part of your work
- A solid working knowledge of low-voltage electrical assembly
- Reliable, accurate, and comfortable as part of a team
- Commutable to Banbury for an on-site role
- Β£27,500 per annum
