A well-established manufacturing business in Banbury is recruiting an Assembly Operative to join their production team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role covering mechanical assembly and basic component wiring, working to drawings and work orders to build products accurately and to a consistent standard.
What you will do
- Carry out mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, following technical drawings and work instructions
- Perform basic component wiring as part of the assembly process
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout, identifying any issues before they become problems
- Work as part of a close-knit production team, contributing to output and on-time delivery
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands-on wiring experience, whether from assembly, electrical, or a mechanical trade background
- Confident using hand tools with good manual dexterity
- Able to read and follow technical instructions, drawings, or work orders
- Reliable, accurate, and a team player
- Local to Banbury or able to commute without issue
- Salary: £27,200 per annum
