The work is hands-on and varied, covering mechanical assembly and component soldering, building products to drawings and work orders to a consistent standard. Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am-4.30pm and Friday 7am-2pm, with an early finish to the week.
What you will do:
- Carry out mechanical assembly using hand tools, working from technical drawings and work instructions.
- Perform component soldering as part of the build process.
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout, identifying issues before they escalate.
- Work as part of a close-knit production team, contributing to output and delivery targets.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Hands-on soldering experience, whether from electronics assembly, electrical, or a mechanical trade background.
- Confident using hand tools with good manual dexterity.
