We have an exciting opportunity for a TIG Welder to join our client's team based in Banbury.

This is a full‑time position with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (Friday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm). The basic starting salary is from £28,000 per annum to £30,000 per annum, but there is a lot of overtime opportunities to earn further circa £6,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing TIG welding on stainless steel components used in catering equipment production.
  • Ensuring all welds meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Assisting in training and mentoring new team members to enhance their welding skills.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and address any welding issues or defects.
  • Upholding strict adherence to health and safety protocols in the welding area.
  • Keeping accurate records of production output and reporting any issues to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience as a welder, with a background in stainless steel welding.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high‑quality welds and finishes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively lead and guide your team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in welding operations.
  • Relevant welding certifications will be advantageous but are not essential as full training will be given.
