About the role: A food production business near Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join their site hygiene team. You will carry out daily and deep cleaning of production areas and equipment, dismantle machinery for cleaning, and help keep the site running to the required hygiene standards. This is a hands-on role in a food and agricultural production environment. You will be working with wheat, grain dust and other allergens, so you need to be comfortable in that kind of setting. The site is not on a public transport route — your own transport is essential.
What you’ll do:
- Daily scheduled cleaning of production lines and areas
- Deep cleaning of production equipment and facilities
- Strip down and dismantle heavy machinery to clean heads and parts
- Post-cleaning checks
- Use of power washers, floor scrubbers and wet/dry vacuums
- Follow GMP and food hygiene procedures throughout
- Work at height and in confined spaces — full training provided
