Are you an experienced Land Manager ready to take ownership of your own region and make a tangible impact on housing delivery? As Land & Partnerships Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring land opportunities and package deals for Housing Association partners. Working closely with internal technical, planning, and commercial teams, you'll manage projects through the full lifecycle from initial identification through to completion and handover.
We're looking for a commercially minded Land Manager who combines market awareness with the ability to build trusted relationships across housing associations, land agents, and local authorities. You'll have a keen eye for opportunity, a solid grasp of planning and contractual frameworks, and the drive to secure and deliver profitable schemes that align with strategic goals.
What you'll be doing:
- Identifying and assessing new land opportunities across the East and West Midlands.
- Negotiating land acquisitions and development agreements to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
- Managing projects from feasibility through to delivery, ensuring each scheme meets its financial and planning objectives.
- Building strong relationships with Housing Associations, local authorities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Representing the company at meetings, events, and site visits promoting our reputation as a trusted development partner.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Land Manager or in a similar development role within a house builder or residential developer.
- Sound knowledge of land contracts, JCTs, and planning systems.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Commercially astute, organised, and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
