StaffCo Direct are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Drivers for ongoing home delivery work based in Acton Gate, Stafford. Regular ongoing work or part time work to suit your lifestyle bookings. This is a well-run operation with a modern fleet, friendly transport team, and secure on-site parking.
Pay Rates (PAYE):
- AM (Mon–Sun): £15.31ph plus holiday pay, or £17.15 per shift including holiday pay
- Overtime after 48Hrs: £22.97 plus holiday pay, or £25.74 ph including holiday pay
What the role involves:
- 2 man home delivery operation delivering white goods/furniture to residential properties, heavy lifting if required.
- Well-maintained fleet.
- Shifts are typically 10 – 12 hrs shifts, 05:30/09:30 start times approx.
- This is a customer focused role so not just a driver, some deliveries include installation which training will be given.
- The role is working 5 days out of 7 for full time work.
- The role does entail a driver assessment followed by 3 day training induction and then you would be buddied up with a trainer for your 1st few days to ensure you get a full onboarding process for the role.
Our ideal candidate:
- Holds a valid 7.5 Tonne licence
- Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes)
- A D & A test will be held at Assmt
