StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) day Drivers for an ongoing opportunity based in Southampton. This is a great chance to secure consistent Monday to Friday work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates.
This role involves transporting cars between locations in a Class 1 vehicle. A support vehicle will accompany the journey, and there is no unloading or handling of the cars, as all loading and unloading is carried out by full time staff.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £23.53ph including holiday pay
What the role involves
You'll be transporting cars with start times typically between 06:00–07:00, working Monday to Friday with Nights out. Shifts are ongoing with weekly bookings available and immediate starts for the right candidates. This is a straightforward driving role with no manual handling or vehicle loading/unloading required.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 12 months' experience
- Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences)
