HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Sherburn in Elmet
£21.01ph – £28.00ph | Weekly Pay | Block Bookings | 6 months’ experience
StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing work in Sherburn in Elmet. We’re looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM & PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well‑organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full‑time positions.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Monday‑Friday AM: £18.75ph + Holiday
- Monday‑Friday PM: £19.50ph + Holiday
- Saturday: £20.25ph + Holiday
- Sunday: £21.00ph + Holiday
- Bank Holiday: £25.00ph + Holiday
What the role involves
PM SHIFT – Start times between 11:00‑13:00, store deliveries – manual unload required.
AM SHIFT – Start times between 04:00‑07:00, store deliveries – manual unload required.
A fully paid 2‑day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full‑time positions.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 6 months
- Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
- Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Is physically fit and well‑presented
