HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Preston

£17 – £21.29ph | Weekly Pay | Ongoing bookings | Immediate Starts

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Preston. This is a great opportunity offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates within a well-organised 7-day operation.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • Monday – Friday AM - £17ph plus accrued holiday or, £19.05ph including holiday pay
  • Monday – Friday PM - £18ph plus accrued holiday or, £20.17ph including holiday pay
  • Saturday - £18ph plus accrued holiday or, £20.17ph including holiday pay
  • Sunday - £19ph plus accrued holiday or, £21.29ph including holiday pay

What the role involves

The role will be completing curtain-side deliveries using modern, well-maintained vehicles. Goods are unloaded by forklift, making this a straightforward driving role with flexible start times and shift patterns available throughout the week.

The operation runs 7 days per week, with shifts averaging 10–12 hours and 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Immediate starts are available with ongoing weekly bookings.

Our ideal candidate

  • Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 6 months
  • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences)
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
