Class 1 Drivers for work based in Warrington. Temporary to Permanent position – 1 year experience required.
RATES, PAYE (HOLIDAY PAID ON TOP):
- Standard Rate - £17.93PH
- Sunday to Thursday PM (22:00-06:00) - £20.93PH
- Friday PM (22:00-06:00) - £23.48PH
- Saturday PM (22:00-06:00) - £26.48PH
- Overtime after 42 hours - £26.04PH
ROLES:
- AM POSITION: Any 5 of 7 including 1 weekend day, start times between 04:00-10:00
- PM POSITION: Sunday to Thursday, start times between 10:00-19:00
- PM POSITION: Tuesday to Saturday, start times between 10:00-19:00
THE JOB:
Mixture of trunking work & store deliveries. Some shunting required in the yard when needed. Retail clients, hangers & cages. This client runs a modern fleet of well-maintained vehicles with secure on-site parking and a friendly and professional transport operations team.
ASSESSMENTS & INDUCTION:
Tuesday 28th April for assessment & Inductions 7th May – full availability is needed for both.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV1/CE) licence held for at least 1 year
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 points (no IN, DR, or DD codes)
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Good communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented
- Physically fit for delivery work
