Norwich StaffCo Direct are recruiting Class 1 drivers for ongoing/Temp to perm work based in Norwich. We can offer ongoing & Adhoc positions to suit your lifestyle. We also have Tramping roles available. This is a well-run operation with a modern fleet, friendly transport team, and secure on-site parking.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • Days (Mon–Fri): £16.00ph plus holiday pay, or £17.93ph including holiday pay
  • Weekends: £20.00 ph plus holiday pay, or £22.41 including holiday pay

What the role involves

Class 1 trunking work with 1 - 3 drops. No handball, this is all FTL work collecting at point A & delivering at point B. There might be loads with 2/3 delivery points around the same area but in general, collect a full load from either near Site or Stowmarket and deliver to a delivery point and return. 4 on 4 off rota or 4 on 3 off. 45 hrs a week. Tramping roles also available.

For this role you will need:

  • Holds a valid CE licence held for at least 1 year.
  • Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
  • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes).
  • Happy to work a 4 on 4 off rota or 4 on 3 off rota.
