HGV Class 1 Drivers, we have three shift patterns available – United Utilities Bickerstaffe - Interviewing Immediately – LONG TERM ONGOING.

We have several exciting opportunities for HGV Class 1 Non ADR Tanker Drivers to work on an ongoing basis for United Utilities. These roles will suit drivers who want to achieve the perfect work/life balance because whether you are looking for full-time work or are perhaps looking to slow things down a bit, or even semi-retire, we have work shift patterns to accommodate you.
The role is basically driving a Class 1 articulated tanker filled with water from A to B with no loading/unloading involved and the work is of a non-physical nature. You will do shifts in depot on some days and some days on standby relief at home for 8 hours, and you might be called out at any point between these times. We may need a bit of flexibility on these times on occasion.
You will receive a standby retainer of £97.68 per day and if you are called out, you will receive an enhanced rate of pay in addition to the standby retainer. NO BREAKS WILL BE DEDUCTED, plus you will accrue an extremely generous amount of holiday pay.
