HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Middleton
£19.75ph - £25ph | Weekly Pay | Temp to Perm | Immediate Starts
StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Middleton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, competitive PAYE rates, and the potential to secure a permanent position with our client.
Drivers will benefit from fully paid assessments, induction, and a full week of paid buddy shifts to help familiarise themselves with routes and stores before working independently.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Weekday PM: £19.75ph plus accrued holiday or £22.13ph including holiday
- Weekday Overtime (after 10 hours): £25.00ph
- Saturday: £20ph plus accrued holiday or £22.41ph including holiday pay
- Sunday: £22ph plus accrued holiday or £24.65ph including holiday pay
What the role involves
You'll be completing lock and drop nighttime store deliveries with start times between 16:00 and 21:00. This is a genuine ongoing opportunity with temp-to-perm positions available for the right candidates. Drivers can expect regular work and the opportunity to earn £1,000+ per week. Immediate starts are available, with paid assessments, paid induction, and a full week of paid buddy shifts provided to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years
- Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN offences)
- Has good communication skills
- Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out store delivery work
