HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver - Bridgwater

StaffCo Direct are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for in Bridgwater. We're looking for both day and night drivers, with regular weekly block bookings available and consistent work on offer. Ad-Hoc positions also available. This is a well-run operation with a modern fleet, friendly transport team, and secure on-site parking.
Pay Rates (PAYE) - Rates are paid as split shifts
Mon to Fri Rates
- 06:00 - 18:00 £18.05 plus holiday Pay, or £20.22 including holiday pay
- 18:00 - 06:00 £21.66 plus holiday pay, or £24.27 including holiday pay
Weekend Rates (PAYE)
- 06:00 - 18:00 £19.86 plus holiday Pay, or £22.25 including holiday pay
- 18:00 - 06:00 £23.47 plus holiday pay, or £26.30 including holiday pay
OVERTIME AFTER 45HRS X 1.5.
What the role involves
CE trunking and RDC work onto bays using a modern, well-maintained fleet. Shifts are typically 8 -12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed per shift, giving you consistency and reliable earnings week to week.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 years
- Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes)
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road Network
