Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer (BAFE Certified) who is looking for the opportunity to be trained on fire alarms and emergency lighting.
Salary: £30K - £32K Basic + Bonus + Commission + OT OTE £42K - £44K
The Role:
- You will operate as a field service engineer responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Yorkshire and East Yorkshire areas.
- Duties will include:
- Testing, inspection, servicing and repair of fire extinguishers in accordance with BS5306
- Install and commission new extinguishers & compliant signage.
- Replacing fault devices
- Accurately complete reports and documentation
- Upselling and cross selling of Fire Safety Ancillary Products.
- Scheduling your own works daily/weekly.
Candidate:
- You will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher engineer with at least two years experience.
- This is a superb opportunity for a fire extinguisher engineer to train and upskill to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer as our client will provide full training.
- Must have BAFE certification
- Must hold a UK Driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
