Our client is a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery for the food industry and due to their continued expansion, Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Aftersales Co-ordinator.

The Role:

  • Co-ordinate service engineers work schedule.
  • Effectively process all after sales enquiries undertaking tasks such as producing quotations, ordering spare parts, chasing suppliers, allocating resources to work.
  • Effective management and control of warranty claims and issue of spare parts in line with technical specifications.
  • Undertake customer visits if and when required.
  • Provide project management support, co-ordinate installations, resource allocation, logistics.
  • Monitor performance and produce accurate KPI reports.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Providing technical support to customers and engineers in the field and assist with the allocation of engineers to installations and maintenance work.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Candidate:

We are looking for a dynamic aftersales co-ordinator or service co-ordinator ideally with previous experience in a capex machinery, OEM or special purpose machinery environment. You will be highly organised with good project management skills. Applicants will have a good technical mindset ideally with some form of engineering qualification e.g. NVQ, HNC.

You will have excellent people management skills and you will be capable of taking the lead in driving process improvement. Must be computer literate with experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 40 hours

Benefits: Excellent basic salary £35K -£40K Negotiable, 33 days annual leave, Sick pay, Health insurance, Pension.
