Our client is an established manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Quality Assurance Manager. The successful candidate will be an experienced quality manager preferably with previous experience in the precision engineering manufacturing sector.
The Role:
- Reporting to the Directors your main responsibilities will be to ensure conformance of product, compliance with applicable regulatory and customer specific standards and continual improvement of the quality systems within the business.
- Manage a small team of quality engineers & inspectors.
- Maintain & develop company QSE management systems and accreditation including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, AS9100D and more.
- Ensure legal and systems compliance.
- Lead & undertake internal audits.
- Promote continuous improvement throughout the business.
Candidate:
You will be an experienced Quality Assurance Manager ideally with a precision engineering background but must be familiar with ISO9001, 14001, 45001, NADCAP and AS9100 requirements. You will be competent in use/deployment of Lean manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma. Lead auditor certification / experience required.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 40 hours
