Our client is an established and expanding construction company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Payroll Assistant.

The Role:

The Payroll Assistant will provide accurate administrative support associated with compiling and processing employee weekly and monthly payroll.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;

  • Compiling payroll for 300+ personnel
  • Timesheet reconciliation
  • Resolve payroll queries
  • Process and calculate expenses and mileage allowances
  • Accurate data input of figures into Excel spreadsheets
  • Calculating SSP, maternity pay, holiday pay etc etc.
  • Maintaining individual payroll files and documentation

Candidate:

You will have at least 1 year previous payroll administration experience.
Applicants will be competent in use of Excel spreadsheets and you will have experience in using payroll software systems.

You will be highly motivated and willing to learn and you will have excellent English language written and verbal communications skills.

Hours of Work:
Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch break)
