Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer (Nights Monday to Thursday). The successful applicant will undertake mechanical and electrical maintenance activities at our client's busy manufacturing plant near Rochdale. Excellent basic salary £54K per annum + Bonus + OT.
The Nightshift Maintenance Engineer will work as part of a team and will undertake planned and reactive maintenance activities at a busy FMCG production facility. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Mechanical fault find and repair of packaging machinery, conversion plant, automated cutting and folding machinery, high pressure systems, conveyors and more.
- 3-phase electrical fault find and repair contactors, sensors, relays, switch gear, motors etc.
- PLC fault find and repair and working with HMI's.
