Our client is a leading supplier of commercial vehicle wash machinery and due to their continued success, Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.
We are seeking an electrical bias field service engineer who will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout the UK.
Salary: £40K - £44K + OT + Van + Bonus
The Role:
- Reporting to the service manager, you will be responsible for mechanical and 3-phase electrical service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.
- Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning.
- Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repair work.
- Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks.
- Ensure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken/completed is recorded on the computer system.
Candidate:
- You will be a multiskilled engineer with excellent electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
- You will have a recognised electrical engineering qualification e.g. 18th edition, HNC/NVQ 3 and you will have good mechanical skills too.
- Previous work experience with vehicle wash machinery or high pressure wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.
- You will be computer literate and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with working outdoors.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 45 Hours
