Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Engineering Supervisor.
We are seeking an experienced electrical bias engineer with excellent management and/or supervisory experience to manage and control all maintenance and CAPEX project activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Wimbledon.
The Role:
The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all planned and reactive maintenance activities and some CAPEX project work. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain and develop the existing CMMS
- Management and control of a small team of maintenance engineers and also external contractors
- Plan, manage and control all maintenance activities and engineering projects
- Effective Budget and CAPEX Project management
- Monitoring, sourcing and ordering spare and replacement parts
- Ensure adequate staff training, recruitment and disciplinary needs are met
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach and help to deliver efficiency and cost savings where possible
- Ensure compliance with all legal and HSE requirements
