Our client is an established engineering company and due to their continued success, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of CNC Machinist to programme, set & operate 3 & 5 axis milling machinery at our client's busy factory near Alfreton.
Pay: £38K - £48K Negotiable (depending on shift & experience) + OT + Benefits
The Role:
- Reporting to the Team Leader, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for the programming, setting and operating CNC machines (Mazak, Toyoda, DMG amongst others).
- Machining a wide range of large one-off fabricated parts/components from various metals including stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys and carbon steels.
Candidate:
- You will be an experienced CNC Machinist with at least 3 years experience in programming, setting or operating CNC machinery.
- You will be familiar with one or more of the following control systems: Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain or Fanuc.
- We will consider candidates with experience in programming, setting, milling machines and/or lathes.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday days 39 hours + OT (Lunch time finish Friday). Various shifts available including days, nights and rotating shifts.
