Our client is a leading provider of vehicle load monitoring equipment for a wide range of commercial fleet companies. Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.
Salary: £40K - £42K DOE + Bonus + OT + Van + Paid travel time + Benefits
The Role: The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for undertaking installation, service, maintenance, repair and calibration of a range of vehicle mounted load monitoring equipment. You will work on a wide range of commercial fleet including HGV's, Heavy Plant and other commercial vehicles at client locations throughout Southwest England.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours + OT + Door to door pay
Candidate: You will be an experienced field service engineer ideally with a good mechanical engineering background. Ideally you will have previous experience in service and repair of load monitoring or weighing equipment. Service engineers with experience in working on HGV or mobile plant will have an advantage but full training will be given. Applicants with basic electrical fault find / diagnostics and repair skills will have an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Benefits: Salary £40K - £42K DOE + Bonus + OT + Van + Paid travel time + Benefits OTE £45K -£50K, Company Van, Tools, Credit Card, 33 days annual leave, Pension.
