Our client is one of the world leading manufacturers of specialist testing and monitoring machinery for manufacturing and energy production companies located both in the UK and overseas. Due to their continued success, Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer (UK & Overseas).
OTE: £55K - £60K + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Installation, service and repair of gas monitoring, testing and calibration machinery
- Mechanical fault find and repair of machinery
- Working with pumps, motors, pipework, extraction units, fans etc.
- 3-phase electrical fault find and repair on motors, servos, 415v and 24v circuits
- Providing operational training for customers
- Produce and maintain accurate site / work visit reports
Candidate:
- You will be a competent mechanical and/or electrical engineer with at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance or field service engineer role.
- You will have excellent mechanical and/or electrical fault find and repair skills and as a minimum you will be educated to NVQ Level 3 standard either mechanical or electrical.
- You will demonstrate good customer service and communication skills and you will be of a friendly disposition.
- You will be prepared to undertake both UK and international travel as part of your work routine.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours + OT; Occasional weekend work
