Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher & Alarm Engineer. The successful candidate will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher & Alarm Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for training on fire alarm systems and career progression.
Basic Salary: £30K - £32K + Bonus OTE £40K - £45K
The Role: You will operate as a field service engineer and you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey & Sussex areas. Duties will include:
- Replace failed and faulty devices.
- Replacing extinguishers and fire safety ancillary products, emergency signage, etc.
- Upselling and cross-selling of fire safety ancillary products.
- Repair and fault find fire suppression and alarm systems; full training will be given on alarm systems.
- Scheduling your own works daily/weekly.
Candidate: You will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer with at least three years' experience. You will also be experienced with emergency lighting testing and basic fire alarm testing, fault finding, and repair. Must have BAFE or FIA training and hold a UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
