We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing SDR team in London, with a dedicated focus on Spain and Italy. In this role, you will be instrumental in building Staffbase's presence across Spain and Italy by identifying, qualifying, and developing opportunities. This position combines the structure and support of our established SDR team with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to prospect in a new region. Your ability to uncover opportunities, build trust with prospects, and tailor conversations to local business needs will be critical to expanding our customer base.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and own Staffbase's Spain and Italy prospecting motions.
  • Proactively engage prospects to generate a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through emails, phone calls, and social selling.
  • Research and identify high-potential companies across Spain and Italy using regional tools, insights, and networks.
  • Skillfully assess and qualify accounts, understanding prospects' pain points and objectives in order to determine fit for Staffbase's offerings.
  • Clearly and persuasively communicate Staffbase's value proposition, tailoring messages to local needs and cultural context.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadences with prospects, multi-threading across stakeholders to keep Staffbase top-of-mind.
  • Partner with Account Executives to set up qualified meetings and support progression of Spanish and Italian opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to localize campaigns and messaging for Spanish and Italian audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and regional business practices to effectively position Staffbase in conversations.
  • Share creative ideas and feedback to continuously improve the Spanish and Italian prospecting process.

What you need to be successful:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal), with the ability to conduct professional business conversations in both languages; fluency in Italian is a big plus.
  • Prior experience in or knowledge of selling into the Spanish market; experience selling into the Italian market is a big plus.
  • Possession of a growth mindset, hunter mentality, and a positive attitude with a keen interest in learning and building a sales career.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High energy, self-starter mentality—you’re not afraid of the phone and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
  • Goal-oriented with a sense of urgency and passion for exceeding targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to think analytically and creatively to solve problems.
