Staff Solutions UK Ltd is currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Waltham Cross, Herts.
This is a PERMANENT position and is based on working 48 hours per week over 5 days.
Start times are between 00.00 02.00, 02.00 04.00 & 04.00 06.00.

As a driver you are the face of the business, and we are looking for drivers that can deliver exceptional customer service. You will be fully supported by a 24/7 transport department to assist you when required.

The main accountabilities of this role are:
Delivering goods to customers in a Class 2 vehicle via various delivery routes, including Central London.
Manually loading & unloading.
Ensuring all vehicle checks are completed and any defects reported.
Checking & confirming the accuracy of deliveries.
Responsibility for company property and customer access keys.
To create and maintain a customer focused environment.
Adhering to all Digital Tachograph regulations.
Communicating any product/invoice discrepancies to the company.
Completion of paperwork to company standard.
Adhere to company policy with regards to personal hygiene, personal presentation, health & safety and housekeeping.
Person Specification:
You must have an HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 points.
No major convictions will be allowed, for example – DRs, DDs & INS.
You must have a valid Digital Tachograph
You must have a current Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
Ideally you will have previous multi-drop experience.
You possess excellent Customer Service skills
You have good communication skills
The ability to work to tight deadlines, both in a team and on your own initiative
A good working knowledge of Transport Legislation.
Be self-motivated and proactive
The basic salary on offer for this position is £42,100. You shift will include every other Saturday, which offers you the opportunity to significantly increase your salary as this is paid at time and a half. You can also increase your salary by taking overtime shifts if your driving hours allow.
If you choose to work overtime shifts it is possible to increase your salary up to £48,100 per annum.
