Staff Solutions UK Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Waltham Cross, Herts.
There is a variety of work available on an ad-hoc basis. The busiest days are Thursday, Friday & Sunday, however we currently have work available every day.
The work is varied and can include Trunk routes, Collections & one-off deliveries.
Start times will be between 19.00 22.00 for Trunks or 3am 6am for collections/one-off deliveries.
To be considered for the above you will need the following:
- A valid licence with no more than 6 points that you have held for at least 6 months.
- A digital Tacho.
- CPC/Driver Qualification Card
- Recent UK Class 1 driving experience
- Be available to at the required start times
- Good knowledge of London and the Home Counties.
- 2 Checkable references.
- Be honest & 100% Reliable.
- Be physically fit as loading & unloading is required.
- Safety Boots.
The rate of pay is £19.00 and you will always be paid for a minimum of 10 hours per shift, even if the work is completed in less than 10 hours, which it quite often is.
