We are currently recruiting for a Production / Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Leeds (LS9). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop skills within extrusion and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

You will support both the production (extrusion & reclaim) and warehouse teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production teams with day-to-day extrusion and recycling operations
  • Maintain high BRC hygiene standards through cleaning and upkeep of machinery
  • Assist with “clean as you go” practices across the factory
  • Carry out warehouse duties including:
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Internal stock movements
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness (floor scrubber use)
  • Empty large bins into external skips
  • Assist during machine shutdown cleaning (e.g. breakdown cleaning)
  • Operate equipment such as silo blower, resin drier, and core cutter (training provided)
  • Support the in-house recycling process
  • What We’re Looking For

    • Understanding of Health & Safety, ISO, BRC, and hygiene standards (preferred)
    • PPT / Counterbalance licence (desirable – training can be provided)
    • Willingness to learn extrusion processes and develop new skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

    What We Offer

    • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern:
    • 2 days: 7:00am – 7:00pm
    • 2 nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am
