We are currently recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in Leeds (LS9). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with blown film extrusion experience looking for a stable, long-term role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate blown film extrusion lines to meet daily production targets
- Maintain high standards of product quality and minimise waste
- Carry out production checks and ensure specifications are met
- Complete all paperwork in line with BRC/ISO standards
- Perform order changes and basic problem solving
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment (“clean as you go”)
- Support senior operators and assist with training where required
Requirements
- Experience in blown film extrusion (essential)
- Knowledge of polymers and PE manufacturing
- Understanding of BRC, ISO and hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
