Our client, a well-established name in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and versatile engineer looking to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure minimal downtime by responding quickly and efficiently to breakdowns
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Recognised qualification in engineering – NVQ Level 3 / HNC / City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)
  • Good understanding of PLCs (basic fault-finding is a bonus)
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automated machinery
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
