Location: Carlisle
Pay Rates:
- Twilights: £12.71 per hour
- Nights: £13.70 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Temporary peak coverage (immediate starts)
Looking for steady warehouse work through the peak period? We are hiring Warehouse Operatives for a high-volume parcel processing facility in Carlisle.
Shift Options:
- Night Shift: Start times between 21:00 and 23:00. Currently operating Sunday to Friday, expanding to 7-day operations during peak.
- Twilight Shift: Start times between 15:00 and 17:30. Currently operating Tuesday and Sunday, with additional shifts opening up as peak volumes ramp up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading incoming trailers and loading outgoing distribution vehicles
- Manual handling and sorting parcels by postcode and route
- Scanning items into the inventory and tracking system
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe depot floor
Candidate Requirements:
- Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced sorting hub
- Good attention to detail for tracking and sorting accuracy
- Flexible to take on extra shifts as peak season demands increase
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shift times
