About the Role
Our client is a leading provider of critical power solutions, delivering tailored and cost-effective services to ensure uninterrupted operations for businesses and organisations across the UK and Ireland. They are now seeking a skilled and motivated UPS Engineer to join their growing team. This is a field-based role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain UPS systems across a variety of client sites
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
- Perform scheduled maintenance and system health checks
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on-site
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful project delivery
About You
- Proven experience in UPS installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation and testing
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Experience within the critical power or engineering sector is highly desirable
- Relevant engineering or technical qualifications
- Committed to working safely and adhering to compliance standards
- Flexible with travel and willing to stay away from home when required
