  • Cad designs for customer approval
  • Updating and saving revisions on server and machine controller
  • Recording of what has been cut on laser and punch
  • Component drawings for manufacturing
  • Create nest for the laser and punch
  • Generally, look after the running of the laser and the punch
  • Sharpening of tools for the punch
  • General housekeeping of the punch and laser
  • Loading and unloading of material
  • Helping develop new products using press brakes and general factory machinery
  • Assisting production at busy times
  • Communicate with external service engineers in relation to the punch and laser
  • Setting power presses
  • General maintenance of factory machinery
  • General assistance to the Senior engineer
