Salary: £26,437 plus a potential contract completion bonus of approximately £3,500

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

You do not need a degree or previous financial-services experience. Full training will be provided, and we are looking for people with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the confidence to speak with customers over the telephone.

The position will initially run until the end of March 2027, but strong performers will have a genuine opportunity to be considered for permanent employment.

The role:

  • Contact existing clients to discuss important matters relating to their accounts and ensure they receive the appropriate support.
  • Approximately 80% of the role will involve outbound calls, with the remaining 20% covering inbound enquiries and associated administration.
  • These are conversations with existing clients rather than cold sales calls.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound calls to existing clients
  • Handling inbound telephone enquiries
  • Listening carefully and explaining information clearly
  • Supporting clients with potentially sensitive or detailed queries
  • Updating customer records accurately
  • Managing follow-up actions and keeping clients informed
  • Working with other departments to resolve enquiries
  • Learning about investments, pensions and financial services
  • Following internal processes and regulatory requirements
