Manual Turner/ Borer/ Fitter

Job description Staffpower Group are delighted to be working with our client who are looking for a Manual Turner/Borer/Fitter experienced within the metal cutting or manufacturing industry to join their team Main Duties: Operating a conventional turning machine (lathe) and conventional borer (webster and bennet) to produce high precision parts to customer specifications. Assisting with final fitting of the components. Correctly positioning the component into the machine, with the assistance of lifting equipment if necessary. Identifying the operations which will machine (cut) the component to the required size. Carrying out the machining in accordance to the components route card and technical drawing. To check your own quality as you work, measuring first-offs before proceeding with any additional machining with hand measuring equipment such as venires and micrometers.
