Staff Power Group are delighted to be working with our client who are seeking a dedicated Folding Operator to join their manufacturing team.

Working for an award-winning print company with an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Print Finishing Folding Operator to join their busy production team.

The successful candidate will have proven experience operating MBO and Heidelberg Stahl folding machines within a fast-paced print environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate MBO and Heidelberg Stahl 56 folding machines to achieve maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Produce a wide range of folded products including brochures, leaflets, book sections and direct mail components.
  • Read and interpret production job tickets and ensure all work is completed to specification.
  • Monitor quality throughout production and carry out regular checks to maintain the highest standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and fault finding to minimise downtime.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the finishing department to meet daily production schedules and customer deadlines.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and comply with all Health & Safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience operating MBO and Heidelberg Stahl folding machines is essential.
  • Strong understanding of commercial print finishing processes.
  • Ability to set up complex fold patterns with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider production team when required.
