We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in the Durham area. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment. You will be working across multiple areas of the production process, supporting the manufacturing of food products from raw ingredient stage through to finished goods.

The Role: You will be involved in various stages of the production process, including:

  • Weighing and preparing ingredients
  • Mixing batches using industrial whisks and paddles
  • Monitoring product consistency and quality
  • Manual handling of materials (regular lifting up to 25kg)
  • Transferring product between production areas
  • Assisting with small amounts of packing and labelling
  • Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
