We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Yard Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our yard and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations. The role includes managing yard activities, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring all statutory checks are completed.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out Legionella inspections
- Completing routine fire alarm tests
- Coordinating fire drills
- Arranging LOLER and general maintenance inspections
- Maintaining and updating ISO documentation and compliance paperwork
Applicants must hold a minimum of IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) and have a good understanding of Health & Safety systems and ISO standards, with experience managing audits, records, and procedures. Previous experience in a yard, depot, or similar operational environment is essential.
