The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving and mechanical knowledge, with experience in warehouse operations. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of their yard operations, ensuring that all materials and equipment are handled safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Transport vehicles from location to location
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues regarding tasks, schedules, and any potential issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Yard Worker or in a similar role, preferably within a warehouse environment.
  • Valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving; delivery driver experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and coordination.
  • A proactive attitude towards safety practices and maintaining a tidy work area.
