Staff Power Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and exciting sandwich shop business. Our client is expanding and is looking for a confident, skilled, and customer-focused Sandwich Chef / Front of House Team Member to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career and grow within a thriving business.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Working Pattern: 5 days per week
- Shifts: Monday to Saturday (2 days off on a rotational basis)
- Hours: Day shifts only no late evenings
About the Role
This is a hands-on position combining food preparation and customer service. You will prepare fresh sandwiches and menu items in front of customers, delivering a high-quality experience while maintaining excellent hygiene and presentation standards. You will be both the face of the business and a key part of the kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other food items to order
- Serve customers confidently and professionally at the counter
- Create and contribute new sandwich ideas and daily/weekly specials
- Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards (Level 3 Food Hygiene required)
- Keep all preparation and service areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Take responsibility for your section and support the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
Requirements
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen environments
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident in a front-of-house role
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to grow within the business
