Staff Power Group are delighted to be working with our client who are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Prepper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles, ensuring they meet quality standards and are presented in the best possible condition. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic automotive environment, contributing to the overall customer experience and vehicle presentation.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out cleaning, polishing, and minor repairs
- Perform heavy lifting when manoeuvring vehicles or parts safely and efficiently
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning interiors and exteriors, including washing and detailing
- Assist with minor mechanical tasks as required, utilising basic mechanical knowledge
- Ensure all vehicles are presented in a clean, polished, and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is important
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks throughout the day
- A proactive attitude with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
The working hours are 07:00-15:30 - Monday to Friday.
