We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate the ability to consistently produce high-quality dishes while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items to the highest standards
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety within the kitchen
  • Carry out and record daily temperature checks for hot and cold food, storage areas, and deliveries
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing procedures during and at the end of shifts
  • Support colleagues and contribute positively to a busy kitchen environment
  • Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Head Chef or management team

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a similar chef role is essential
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organised, and able to use initiative
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous, although strong practical experience will also be considered
