Technical Sales Specialist Heat Transfer Fluids (North of England & Scotland)
Field-Based | Full-Time | £30,000 to £35,000 basic | OTE up to £60,000 | Car Allowance | Uncapped Commission
We are recruiting for a field-based Technical Sales Specialist to cover the North of England and Scotland, selling specialist heat transfer and thermal management fluids into a wide range of industrial and engineering-led customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out with customers, developing new business, and managing their own territory. Full product and industry training will be provided.
The Role
- Field-based technical sales position covering North of England & Scotland
- Mixture of new business development and account management
- Visiting customer sites and building long-term relationships
- Selling into engineering, site teams, procurement and buying teams
- Managing your own territory plan and diary
- Providing a consultative, solution-led sales approach
- Negotiating pricing and commercial terms
- Using CRM to track activity, pipeline and forecasts
- Working closely with internal teams to support technical enquiries and deliver customer solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in technical sales, field sales, or an engineering-led sales environment
- Confident communicating with engineers and technical stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative approach
- Commercially aware and motivated by winning new business
- Organised, proactive and able to manage a patch effectively
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Willingness to travel across the North and Scotland
- Industry experience is helpful, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Package
- Basic salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience)
- Car allowance
- OTE up to £60,000
