Role Summary
Electrical Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proactive electrical maintenance plans to minimise downtime
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and manage preventative maintenance
- Run diagnostic tests and apply root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
- Keep clear records of all service and repair work
- Ensure a safe, tidy workspace and adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental standards
- Support new equipment installs and upgrades of existing machinery
- Train colleagues on safe, effective electrical equipment use
- Manage parts inventory and ensure supply levels are maintained
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an Electrical Technician role
- Preferably from a COMAH-regulated environment such as chemical or food production
- Confident in AC/DC systems, electrical diagrams, and fault-finding
- Skilled communicator and comfortable liaising across departments
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to safety and detail
- Willingness to respond to electrical issues outside of standard hours
- HNC qualification
