Role Summary

Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement proactive electrical maintenance plans to minimise downtime
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and manage preventative maintenance
  • Run diagnostic tests and apply root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
  • Keep clear records of all service and repair work
  • Ensure a safe, tidy workspace and adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental standards
  • Support new equipment installs and upgrades of existing machinery
  • Train colleagues on safe, effective electrical equipment use
  • Manage parts inventory and ensure supply levels are maintained

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Electrical Technician role
  • Preferably from a COMAH-regulated environment such as chemical or food production
  • Confident in AC/DC systems, electrical diagrams, and fault-finding
  • Skilled communicator and comfortable liaising across departments
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to safety and detail
  • Willingness to respond to electrical issues outside of standard hours
  • HNC qualification
