Location: Cornwall
Staff Partners are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join a specialist team supporting an individual living independently in their own home. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a consistent and established care team, providing 2:1 support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
About the Role
You will be supporting patient with:
- Autism
- Learning disabilities
- Behaviours that may challenge
The role requires a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 2:1 support in a home environment
- Supporting with daily living activities
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
- Administering medication in line with guidelines
- Ensuring safeguarding and duty of care at all times
- Promoting independence and dignity
Shift Patterns Available
- A mixture of shifts including:
- Early (E)
- Long Day (LD)
- Waking Night (WN)
- Sleep-In (SIN)
- Minimum of 90 hours available per week
- Ongoing work starting next week
- Consistency is key – we are looking to build a reliable team of regular staff
