Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Document Administrator? Are you immediately available and willing to take on an ongoing temporary assignment with the possibility of being taken on permanently? Are you reliable, and do you have a working knowledge of EMIS? We are working with a lovely GP Practice in Stretford M32 who require an experienced document administrator.
Hours: Monday - Friday Full time hours
- Receive, open, and process all incoming post and electronic correspondence (e.g. hospital letters, discharge summaries etc).
- Accurately read-code and file documents into patient records using the clinical system (e.g. EMIS / Docman).
- Allocate documents to the appropriate clinician, workflow, or administrative team for review or action.
- Flag urgent or clinically significant information promptly to the relevant GP or nurse.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Liaise with hospital departments or external providers to resolve document or data discrepancies.
- Support the practice team with data quality initiatives, ensuring accurate coding to support QOF and clinical audits.
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for document handling and coding.
Our client requires a document administrator who can hit the ground running with a good working knowledge of EMIS and previous experience as ‘Medical Receptionist/Administrator’, along with an excellent telephone manner and customer services skills.
