We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly and well-established GP Practice in Kensington and Chelsea W11 on a locum/temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking for flexible working arrangements with competitive hourly rates.
The Role: As a Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the GP team and delivering high-quality patient care within a primary care setting. You will be responsible for a range of nursing duties and clinics to support the ongoing health and wellbeing of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering routine nursing care within a GP Practice setting
- Running chronic disease management clinics (e.g., asthma, diabetes, COPD)
- Administering immunisations and vaccinations
- Cervical screening (smears)
- Wound care and dressings
- Health promotion and patient education
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to clinical protocols
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Minimum 1 year’s experience working within a Primary Care / GP Practice setting
- Experience with chronic disease management and routine practice nurse duties
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
